About the LCAA
Our Mission
To educate, inspire and empower diverse junior, high school and college students through formalized aviation, aeronautical and STEM education, professional aviation training, and special events.
Our Team
Our team of experienced and knowledgeable volunteer mentors and instructors are committed to helping our students turn their dreams into goals. With years of military, commercial and industry experience and a passion for teaching, our volunteers are the backbone of the LCAA!
Our Programs
We offer free aviation, aerospace, aircraft maintenance and unmanned aerial systems mentoring and training to our students through our LCAA Inspirational Flight Training (LIFT) day-camps and partnerships with local industry and educational institutions, paid in part by donations and grants from our partners in business, government and education.

Every penny donated will be used to provide scholarships to Lowcountry students for aerospace education and training.
